What We Collect

Sylvaera collects the minimum information necessary to operate the service:

Usage analytics: We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page visits and traffic patterns. This is fully anonymised — no IP addresses, no fingerprinting, no individual tracking.
Contact information: If you send us an email, we retain your email address and the content of the message to reply to you. We do not use it for marketing lists.
Server logs: Standard server access logs (IP address, user agent, request path, timestamp) are retained for up to 7 days for security monitoring and are then automatically deleted.

What We Don't Store

🛡️ The data you paste, upload or generate using any Sylvaera capability is never written to persistent storage. It is processed entirely in-memory during your request and discarded immediately after the response is returned to you.

This means:

SQL schemas you paste into the Schema to Dataset tool are never stored.
CSV and JSON files you upload to the CSV Cleaner or PII Anonymizer are never saved to disk.
Prompts you send to the Dataset Generator or SQL Generator are not logged.
JSON you paste into the Formatter and outputs you generate are never retained.
API specifications you paste into the Mock Generator are discarded after processing.

We cannot retrieve, reconstruct or provide your tool inputs or outputs — because we never had them beyond the duration of your request.

AI Processing

Several Sylvaera tools — including the Dataset Generator, Schema to Dataset, SQL Generator, API Mock Generator, CSV Cleaner and PII Anonymizer — use artificial intelligence to process your input.

AI processing is performed via Amazon Web Services Bedrock. Your inputs are transmitted to AWS Bedrock over encrypted HTTPS, processed, and the result is returned to you. AWS Bedrock does not use customer inputs to train foundation models and does not log your data for model improvement.

⚡ The JSON Formatter and Data Format Converter tools process data entirely client-side in your browser and never transmit your data to any server — AI or otherwise.

Cookies & Analytics

Sylvaera uses the following cookies and analytics tools:

Cloudflare Web Analytics: Privacy-first analytics that measures page visits without cookies, personal data or cross-site tracking. Fully GDPR compliant by design.
Google AdSense: Sylvaera displays advertising via Google AdSense. Google may set cookies to serve personalised ads based on your browsing behaviour.
Cloudflare infrastructure cookies: Cloudflare may set cookies for security (bot protection, DDoS mitigation). These are strictly necessary for service availability.

Opting out of ad personalisation: You can opt out of personalised Google ads at adssettings.google.com or by visiting optout.aboutads.info.

Advertising

Sylvaera is funded by display advertising via Google AdSense. This allows all tools to remain free with no paywalls or usage limits.

Google AdSense uses the DoubleClick cookie to serve ads based on your prior visits to Sylvaera and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to Sylvaera and/or other websites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings.

Third-Party Services

Sylvaera uses the following third-party services to operate:

Cloudflare — CDN, DDoS protection, DNS, and Web Analytics.
Amazon Web Services (AWS Bedrock) — AI inference for tool processing. Inputs are not retained or used for model training.
Google AdSense — Display advertising. Google's privacy policy governs ad-related data collection.
Google Fonts — Web fonts loaded via Google's CDN.

Sylvaera does not sell, rent, or share your information with any third party beyond the services listed above for operational purposes.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your data. Because Sylvaera does not maintain user accounts or persistent data records, most of these rights are satisfied by default — there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete for tool usage.

GDPR (EU/UK): You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection. For tool data, erasure is automatic. For any contact data held, email us and we will delete it within 30 days.
India DPDP Act: You have the right to access, correct and erase data we hold.
CCPA (California): We do not sell personal information. You have the right to know what personal data we collect and to request its deletion.
